Sometimes all the photos I take slip into my computer without remembering to post them.  The ones shown below are from the FABULOUS cupcake and cake pop decorating class we did at Fresh Ink in August to kick off football season.  Kristen Mullen, a native of New Orleans and accomplished pastry chef, taught us tips and tricks to impress our friends with special tailgate treats!

Rewined, based in South Carolina, is one of our favorite new candle lines at Fresh Ink.  We fell in love with the concept of using recycled wine bottles for candles, but Adam and friends at Rewined really cemented the deal with not only a clever concept but delightful fragrances and packaging to complete the package.  We asked him a few questions to give our customers insight into this new line at Fresh Ink:

{FI} How did you get your start?

Learning about wine was a passion of mine in my 15yrs in the restaurant business.  Working 80 hrs a week wasn't.  I began working with the glass bottles I saw coming out of the restaurant in my spare time, and one night over a glass of wine the idea for candles just struck me.  The rest is history.
